Where is "xxx" monster; I am where it spawns but it is not here?

Some monsters only spawn at night. This is especially true for many bosses. Much of the time bosses have a slow spawn time, and so if it was killed recently you will need to wait anywhere from 5 minutes to 4 hours depending on the boss, and day/night.
